Question by musez_10: What historical and good places to visit in Istanbul?

I am planning to visit Turkey for only two days in my way up to other countries, what historical and good places to visit in Istanbul? how much taxis cost? any other tips and sdvises...

Whatever you do, don't skip going up the Galata Tower for an overall view.
Definitely have a Bosphorus tour.
Half tour or full tour.
If you can't, if you don't have time, at least go from Karakoy or Eminonu or Besiktas to Kadikoy and back.
Definitely go to Sultanahmet area.
Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque etc..
