What is the difference between walking on a treadmill vs outdoors?

Question by JAYE: What is the difference between walking on a treadmill vs outdoors?

I have recently received a treadmill and the distance I walk is not the same as walking outdoors. I walk to music and can do 3 miles in 45 minutes but it takes longer to go the same distance on the treadmill. Why is that??

idk this is why i absoultly HATE tredmills
