I've noticed people getting annoyed when Manga gets grouped in the same genre as comic books, or when bookstores sell anime alongside western animation.

Because it's a completely different style. And it's read completely different. Nope, not the same. And there not from the same side of the world.

It's like saying Football and Rugby are the same.
