So I'm doing a paper on The Road by Cormac McCarthy and how having someone else in the world and unconditional love is the meaning in the world. I am going to use the tone as an example of how the author gets the message out i need another element of literature to use. I want to use one involving the lack of quotation marks, lack of names, lack of commas and so on but i don't know what that is called.
