How far do I have to read into Atlas Shrugged before the story is in full motion?

Question by Vanita M: How far do I have to read into Atlas Shrugged before the story is in full motion?

It seems like I've been reading for a while, only 88 pages, but the font size is like 8 and spans about 6-7 paragraphs per page.

They repeatedly talk about the loss of individualality on several accounts, Henry Rearden, Owen Kellogg, but most recently Michael Conway. How long is it before something major happens?
